ZTE announces 64GB Axon for US

ZTE has launched a new smartphone in the Axon brand in the United States. The second after Axon Pro, that support comes in the segment of phablets with a data sheet and a lightweight price.

ZTE was already not easy to follow when they had to juggle its own brand and Nubia. He had to add Axon, whose strategy fits, in addition, each market. Indeed, the brand was made official this summer in the United States, before arriving in China and then in Europe, but never with the same smartphone. What it still lose some more. And it’s not finished yet because a new model has been launched in the US in order to support the Axon Pro wins in passing a 64GB option.

The new model in question was called Axon, with nothing behind. Is short. It’s simple. Perfect for a flagship store, one might think. Missed! It is neither more nor less than a light version of the model Pro. The screen still measures 5.5 inches, but the definition changes from QHD Full HD. The Snapdragon 810 is replaced by the oldest, but still swift, Snapdragon 801. And the RAM currency volume is two to 2 GB. The rest is retained.

This includes 32 GB of internal memory, still without possibility of extension, the camera with dual 13/2-megapixel sensor on the back and the 8 megapixel camera on the front. The whole is again confined in a metal frame and obviously running on Android, always delivered in version 5.1.1 Lollipop with a slight overlay.

The ZTE Axon is already available in the US, where he is charged $ 329 against $ 499 for the Pro version with 32GB and $ 499 with double storage. This is a pretty good deal, without being the best we have seen. Needless to say that Europe is not affected by this launch, especially since our Axon Elite is already present much like a light version of Axon Pro.

If a second model was to arrive in Europe, he would approach probably more of Axon Mini Chinese.
