Do you remember the news that Chinese manufacturer Elephone develops the clone of flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, the price of which will be in the range of $200?
It seems that Elephone S7 will not be the only device of this type. Today, the company Elephone announced another smartphone Elephone R9. In general, according to the mobile market analysts, creators Elephone R9 copied not even Galaxy S7, but another Chinese smartphone from China – Oppo R9.

Elephone R9 will have almost flagship features: 10-cores processor MediaTek Helio X20, 3Gb of RAM, 32Gb of internal flash memory with expandable MicroSD memory cards.
Elephone R9 cameras will have a resolution of 16-MP (basic) and 8-MP (front). The location of main camera module will be the same as iPhone 6s.
As for the screen, new smartphone has a “standard” package: a diagonal of 5.5 inches, resolution Full HD and, of course, minimum frames around the screen.
Unlike many other Chinese smartphones, Elephone R9 will have a fingerprint reader that is located under the “Home” button. Smartphone Elephone R9 is running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. At the same time, the manufacturer promises update to Android 7.0 Nougat.
Also worth noting is that the smartphone body is made of metal.
Release date and price Elephone R9
Elephone R9 release date is scheduled for the second half of this year, closer to the fall. The price Elephone R9 is not disclosed, but it is expected, that the cost will be around $250. If this happens, then smartphone will be very competitive.
