MediaTek is the eternal rival Qualcomm, it is the largest provider of phone processors in the world and reigns supreme on the high end. However, Samsung has shaken the American glove with its Exynos 7420 that has trouncing Snapdragon 810. MediaTek also wants to get into the game to win its share of high-end cake, he has success with its Helio processors.  MediaTek is a Taiwanese company that continues to want to shorten the distance with Qualcomm and it works pretty well so far. Indeed, the chipmaker has now overtaken the US as regards the entry level and also the mid-range recently.
