Two shots of a still unknown Oppo smartphone appeared yesterday on the Internet. This would be a version with Full HD screen of the recent R1C called R1x outside Asia. Because beyond the definition of the screen, no other details seems to separate the two models.
The “R” series of Oppo consists of two segments today. A first high-end rather with the R5 and probable and future R7 we crossed some shots in recent weeks. And a second more mid-range with the R1C, recently released and available in Europe under the name R1x . If all indications Oppo working on the next launch of a model rather ambitious (R7), the other segment could not stay as it is.
The Gizmochina site has indeed published yesterday two new shots of a still unknown smartphone (hope there is not a relic of the effect April 1 …). The glass tile features raised edges, like the iPhone 6 (a movement in the very modern designs commonly known as 2.5D). The wafers are protected by metal. And the pattern in the back is, for the moment, uniform, what distinguishes the recent R1C / R1x.
Associated with the “R” range of its design, it could be an improved version of the latter. Gizmochina indeed offers many technical details of this mobile future claimed. The touchscreen retain its size of 5 inches, but would opt for a definition 1080p (not 720p). The chipset that would animate once again the Snapdragon 615 (crossed in the R1C and R5). Oppo seems to appreciate the performance of the octo-core midrange Qualcomm.
To accompany this chipset, the manufacturer has chosen to 2GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel camera sensor and two SIM card ports 4G compatible. On these three points, no difference with the R1C is noted. We should also expect 16 GB of internal memory and a battery of 2500 mAh.
Given the proximity of this hypothetical model and the previous “R” (R 5 and R 1C), hard to know what could be the positioning of this new mobile. It is also difficult to make a lot of credit to this information. We therefore recommend that you take it with all the precautions.
