MSI is known for its hardware dedicated to gaming, but this new series called Prestige goes to wink at those computers use them more for a perspective business.
MSI Prestige PE60 and MSI Prestige PE70 their names. They share the same hardware with the only difference data from the screen diagonal. The PE60 is offered with a 15.6 inch, the PE70 with a 17.3-inch. I am personally confused by the fact that the two screens are both IPS Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, but only one child may optionally be mounted to a panel 4K resolution from 3840 x 2160 pixels, while the largest has no choice options.
They share the same fourth-generation Intel quad-core i7 4720HQ with a frequency of 3.60 GHz and a TDP of 47 W and can be equipped with a RAM up to 16 GB in two slots DDR3L SO-DIMM. The nVidia GPU is license plate, with the two models GTX950M or both GTX960M 2GB of GDDR5 video memory.
Storage provides hybrid solutions between a 128GB SSD type M.2 2280 and 1 TB of HDD at 7200 rpm.
It has the usual varied and exterior doors as three USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, a mini Display Port and HDMI for video output, jack 3.5 mm both in outgoing and incoming to the microphone, an SDXC card reader, a LAN port and that’s incredible, an optical reader, rare stuff lately about laptops last generation. Not missing out form Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0, as well as a pair of stereo speakers and a webcam for video calls.
Given the power of the processor and video card, I do not expect a range not too high. They should already be available in American soil with starting prices amounted to about $ 1,199 for PE60 and $ 1,299 for the PE70.
