Revenge of Mediatek against Qualcomm, which has been a manufacturer always well seen even when inserting the SoC in low-end devices is slowly consuming. Recall that Mediatek has always been “the supplier of the low-end market.” Although it is true, and despite being almost monopolizing the Asian market low-end, we recently discovered that his SoC top of the range have a lot to say when compared with the top range competitors. Wanting to make an example, the Mediatek MT6795 was more handsome and decidedly cooler than Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (Mediatek MT6795 shows on GeekBench: power similar to the Snapdragon 810).

Wanting to take another example, this time shifting the focus to the mid-market, in a recent benchmark test the Mediatek MT6735 has been shown to develop more computational power and more graphics power than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, or one of the SoC used.

As you can see, the results of the Mediatek MT6735 clear: about 150 points higher in the result in single-core and almost 400 points higher in the result in multi-core. That it is only the popular belief in the ascent to curb Mediatek also in the European territory? We’ll find out in the future, when they get the most top of the line equipped with its SoC.
