Asus could present at CES smartphone camera with optical zoom

Asus ZenPhone with optical zoom

Asus is another brand that has scheduled a launch event at CES in Las Vegas. There is expected that Asians make known a new Asus ZenPhone it would not exactly unnoticed. And the model in question stands out for its camera, which is speculated to have dual sensor and a system that would emulate the results of the optical zoom.

A few weeks ago Asus showed off in his Facebook seems profile a teaser of a new Asus ZenPhone. The speed of the images apparently hid the subliminal message of the video, but users soon detected that the image sequences showing the housing of a smartphone left also find dual sensor camera. Now the firm returns to play puzzles with a new teaser, this time of a few seconds that leaves a message in Morse code.

After analyzing the message “camouflaged” with the phrase “See what others can’t see”, it was determined that Asus mentioned a camera feature of the new model. Actually spells words optical zoom, so all have tried to solve the riddle. And the first video showed a dual sensor camera and now Asus speaks optical zoom.

At first glance seems complicated. Practically we could dismiss the idea that by repeatedly attempted Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom with a smartphone attached to a camera with optical zoom nine increases. By design and size (shown in the first teaser) seems to be the direction you are taking Asus. Moreover, the fact of having two cameras in one reminds us of the latest technology CorePhotonics. As the website Gigaom points out, the puzzle pieces seem to be aimed at the solution. A solution consists of two cameras that take photos with different depth of field and later combine them using specific software. The result would be, as we show in the capture, a picture with digital zoom, but with closest results that offers an optical zoom. From here could come in Morse code message on the next video from Asus.
