It seems that IUNI has a new device in the works, in fact, the new model has been spotted on the site certification TENAA (Chinese government agency designed to certify and verify smartphones before they are put on the market). IUNI U3 Mini, although he had glimpsed at MWC at stand Gionee – IUNI the brand is its sub-brand – still did not have the full certification TENAA.
IUNI U3 Mini comes with the same processor Snapdragon 801 of his older brother IUNI U3 and clocked at a slower rate, 2.3 GHz. The new model is equipped with 2 GB of RAM instead of 3GB the U3 and internal memory of 32 GB, which unfortunately is not expandable.
IUNI U3 Mini comes with a nice display of 5.15 inches with Full HD 1080p resolution. The U3 invce has a 5.5-inch display 2K.
As for the camera, the smartphone will have a 13-megapixel rear and a front camera 8MP.
IUNI has succeeded in reducing the thickness of the device at 9.5 mm, but the battery has dropped sharply. Instead of 3,000 mAh available on U3, this model has a good battery 2900 mAh which should thus ensure a similar battery life as U3.
As for the connectivity features, IUNI U3 Mini, supports GSM, TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE, LTE FDD and WCDMA. Of course, like all devices IUNI, this particular model runs Android 4.4.4 based on IUNI OS. The smartphone will be available in three different colors: black, white and green.
It was not yet announced the official selling price, it is said, and however, that the device will be available in China, for a figure of around 200 euro; we hope so at a price not exceeding EUR 300 in the most important international reseller.
