Such a 2-in-1 tablets / laptops as the Taiwanese technology company immensely popular among users. Therefore, the company will add new hybrid tablet to its product mix.
That said the CEO of ASUS Jerry Shen at the press conference where two new Transformer Books were introduced, writes Focus Taiwan.
In October 2013 launched its first ASUS Transformer Book: T100. Since then sold over 3 million copies of this hybrid tablet. Last year, the hybrid tablet in the Transformer Book series accounted for 20% of the total turnover of the company. The CEO expects that the proportion increases to 30% next year.
According to the latest estimates from research firm IDC ASUS sold last year three million tablets. This is the Taiwanese technology company after Apple, Samsung and Lenovo tablet’s largest producer in the world. Research director Jean Philippe Bouchard also expects 2015 a good year for the tablet market with the release of Windows 10, a larger form factor for tablets and the introduction of new technologies such as Real Sense of Dell.
