Xiaomi is the famous Chinese manufacturer of smartphones, tablets and other accessories for mobile devices, but we also find larger appliances in the brand’s portfolio, such as smart TVs and the system of green little robot. And the newest bet Hugo Barra house is the Mi TV 3.
The new member of Smart TVs line the Xiaomi is the Mi TV 3, which has as attributes a 60-inch screen with 4K resolution (panel manufactured by LG) and an extremely thin (for a TV of course) 36.7 mm at its thickest part and 11.6 mm at the thinnest part. All this in an aluminum body with metal back.
To drive all the resources that offer the new TV integrates an MStar 6A928 processor with Cortex-A17 and Mali T760 GPU. Also brings 8GB eMMC memory for internal storage that will be managed by the Android system MIUI interface. On the side of connectivity, we have three HDMI ports, two USB ports, a VGA port, an Ethernet port, an AV-in, a subwoofer output, and a standard RF modulator. On the front for the audio we have the Virtual Surround technology that promises deeper bass.
According to Xiaomi, the acoustics for Mi TV 3 was designed by Luca Bugnardi (winner of the Grammy Award) together with Wang Fuyu (former head of acoustics research at Philips). Including also announced a speaker in bar format sold separately for about $ 160, consisting of four mid-range and a 2.5-inch subwoofer.
The Mi TV 3, and prior televisions Xiaomi, debuted in China for an amount equivalent to US $ 650. There is no information on its international availability, but remember that the company plans to sell some of its products in the US and other regions.
