Xiaomi launches virtual operator Mi Mobile in China

Last month saw Xiaomi present to the world the new version of MIUI, its modified system based on Android. In its seventh generation, the novelty comes with Android 5.1 code Lollipop and several new features to its customers. At the same event the company unveiled another novelty that caught the attention of all, a service called Virtual SIM, which creates a kind of roaming in simulation to ensure you continue surfing the Internet even when outside China.  This news was just the first step in a new strategy of Chinese manufacturers.  Xiaomi Mi Mobile comes with two planes, which have reportedly plans to simplify complex prices in the Chinese mobile phone market. The foreground uses the China Unicom network and will be available for purchase at Mi.com from tomorrow (23). Mi Mobile will offer calling, messaging and mobile data in a prepaid format about 0.10 yuan (about 0,014 euros) per minute for calls, SMS or each MB of data transferred.

 The second plan will use China Telecom’s network and will have a lower monthly fee of 59 yuan (about 8 euros), offering a monthly package with 3GB of data. You can still make calls and messages to the extra cost of 0.10 yuan (about 0,014 euros) for every minute of call or SMS sent. The two plans are compatible with any network structures with 2G, 3G and 4G existing. However, this background will be available for testing only from October in China.
