A mysterious new device just received Chinese certification TENAA, the agency that is dedicated to the certification of telecommunications equipment in the country. Huawei C8818 is Dual SIM terminal midranges that have leaked much of its specifications. As we see in the images, the new phone would have a simple look, very similar to Huawei Honor 4X polycarbonate casing with rounded edges. The speaker would find it located at the rear where you can also see who can make use of high-speed networks.
Despite its resemblance to the Honor 4X, this model would be a little thinner. Would have a thickness of 8.9 mm, while the Honor 4X is 8.7 mm. Still, this device would weigh less, around 162 grams, just three grams less than its big brother. Meanwhile, according to the data, would mount a screen 5 inch FullHD resolution. Inside this Huawei C8818 we will run with eight-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 specifically with 64bit. This chip is found in much of the mid-range devices currently on the market. It would be accompanied by a RAM of 2GB, enough for us to make use of some of the best apps that are now in the Google Play.
The camera will not be bad. Despite being considered a midrange, the Huawei C8818’d use a main camera with 13 megapixel sensor. Secondary 5 megapixel camera would be enough for those who like fashion selfies. It is said that the phone come with version Android 4.4 KitKat, but we assume it will seamlessly upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop. For now, we are not aware of whether this particular model will be sold outside China. Some media say that would be the CDMA version of Honor 4X, so considering this data is difficult to see it in Europe. It would be a shame, especially because it could be priced at only 160 euros to change. An amazing price for the specifications mentioned above.
As we await new data on this phone, now all eyes are the event that the company prepares for next April 15. That day in London plans to show its new flagship, the Huawei P8. As I’ve reported this morning, the new device from the Asian firm includes a new more powerful processor, Kirin 935. This would be a chip with better performance than the Kirin 930, also eight-core and 64-bit. This new terminal would also have a camera with more advanced sensor and could come at a premium edition, named Huawei P8 Platinum Edition, which would have a double casing with sapphire crystal.
