With the new architecture Intel Broadwell U the market for mini PC in recent times is seeing the arrival of an increasing number of products that promise performance interested in a body with small dimensions. Among the newcomers in this area we Cubi: new mini-PC just launched by MSI, characterized by a nice look, compact size and a good hardware sector.
The new computer Windows Chinese house will be available in several variations, ranging from a cheaper and less accurate that uses an Intel Celeron-3205U and arrives at the best performing carrying a i5-5200U, through an Intel Core i3-5005U and Intel Pentium 3805U, which should animate the intermediate configurations.
In all cases, the GPU will be an Intel HD Graphics integrated and RAM on board natively will be a module 4 GB DDR3L to 1600 mHz, expandable up to a maximum of 8 GB thanks to the two slots SO-DIMM present. As for storage, it is not clear that basic configurations will be offered by the company, what is known is that Cubes offers the possibility of integrating the two units, a 2.5 “HDD and an mSATA drive.

In the front we find a 3.5 mm input jack for headphones and microphone, and two ports USB 3.0, while in the back we have the input for the power supply, which will be outside, flanked by two entering USB 3.0, a RJ45 LAN port , an HDMI output and a mini DisplayPort. One of the things that strikes however more of this terminal is its small size. The company has in fact wanted to create a device that could blend well in different environments, which are offices, meeting rooms or your living room. To make it even more versatile cubes MSI has also equipped with their own VESA, which allows the device to hang on the wall or directly behind the TV equipped with such a system.
MSI Cubi should arrive on the market, even European, later this month, but unfortunately we have not data for the introductory price of various configurations.
