It seemed that the Barcelona fair, we talk about the MWC 2015, was now full of presentations – Today is the last day – and instead Huawei surprises everyone “removing the veil” on a new smartphone low cost (entry-level) named Huawei Y3.
Huawei Y3 is a device that’s going to hit the low end of the market and will be sold at a retail price of 79 Euros with marketing that will happen in Europe. Obviously this device offer features not tooexciting.
But we analyze in detail the official specifications of this new Huawei Y3:
- LCD IPS display by 4 inches with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels
- MediaTek processor quad-core at 1.3 GHz
- 1 GB of RAM
- Internal memory of 4 GB expandable via microSD up to 32 GB
- 5 megapixel rear camera with FlashLED
- 2 megapixel front camera
- Battery 1730 mAh
- Dual-SIM
- OS Android 4.4 KitKat
Huawei also confirmed that this device will not be updated to Android Lollipop, but will maintain the software version Android KitKat.
At this price, in fact, we expected such a move by the company that doing so has put the “hands on” not providing support for this device; Huawei will surely resources to focus more on high-end devices.
Unfortunately at the moment has not yet been announced an official release date but we think that Huawei will unveil these days more details.
