The Taiwanese manufacturer is preparing a new smartphone for Asian markets. Variant of the HTC One M9 + plastic, it should be formalized in July.
Having formalized its flagship, the One M9, HTC had introduced us a few weeks later his XL variant, named One M9 +. To this were added the One E9 and E9 +, two variants of the One M9 and M9 +, equipped with plastic shells and intended for Asian markets. Well here today comes a new model, the HTC One ME9, which is in fact the actual plastic variant of the One M9 +.
Indeed, the HTC One E9 + is greater than the One M9 + (5.5 inches vs. 5.2 inches), besides being devoid of fingerprint sensor. The HTC One ME9 that we had seen last week on TENAA, meanwhile has the same size and same specifications as the One M9 +. Only the plastic shell and the back sensor (Duo Camera is absent on the One ME9) used to differentiate the flagship XL.
Spotted by Upleaks this HTC One ME9 unveils its main features, which are almost similar to the One M9 +. Thus, according to the serial leaker, the future of Taiwanese smartphone should have a screen of 5.2 inches WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) and should be run by a octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6795 processor clocked at 2.2 Ghz, accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Photo hand, we should find there two sensors: a Toshiba T4KA7 20 megapixels on the back, another 4 megapixel (UltraPixel) facade.
Also note the presence of Boomsound technology, a fingerprint reader and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity. Everything should run Android 5.0 Lollipop accompanied by the overlay HTC Sense 7.0.
Marketed in three colors (Classic Pink, Gold Sepia and Meteor Grey) at a price of around 500 euros, THC One ME9 should in all likelihood be reserved for Asian markets. Its release is scheduled for July.
