Cube has announced tablet iWork 11, a device that has been rumored in recent times and it gets to fight for a place among the multitude of productive tablets that are emerging. Its specs are not too outstanding, so surely it would be a model that would go unnoticed if not for a feature that differentiates it from the rest and takes the lead as one of the first large format tablets including phone functionalities.
Cube is a manufacturer which has become known among users mainly thanks to its good economic models, which often meet despite having limited hardware configurations, as in the case of the Cube TALK8 whose price was only 70 euros to change. We also give examples of tablets midrange offering unusual features, such as Cube iWork 11 with 64-bit processor and 4G connectivity for less than 200 euros.
Is this the idea that recurs with Cube iWork 11 offer consumers something out of the ordinary in full segment very similar models. As mentioned, in this case the idea translates into a 3G modem that can connect to mobile data networks but also make and receive calls, a feature that was reserved for models 7/8 inches and makes the leap to a tablet large format. We do not believe that it can be something that routinely include, but sporadically may be useful to sell these tablets to certain sectors of users.
Among other specifications we find a 11.6-inch display with full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels), Intel quad-core processor that although not specified appears to be the Intel Z3735G, whatever, is accompanied by the GPU Intel HD Graphics seventh generation that ensures good performance in this paragraph, also 2 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage expandable via micro SD cards.
At the rear 5-megapixel camera is placed while the front is 2 megapixels. As for connectivity, lacking Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and includes HDMI and microUSB OTG port. As operating system uses Windows 8.1 and is ready for installation magnetic latching keyboard. Price Cube iWork 11 is not yet released, and in Europe can only be bought through import companies.
