The Taiwanese manufacturer ASUS has presented at Computex 2015 a wide range of new notebooks and 2-in-1 devices, which are coming with Windows 10 on the market. Among them is the Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200, which can be made with a foldable display from notebook to tablet. For a moderate price, the customer receives a complete package with the latest hardware with the device.
The ASUS Transformer Book Flip TP200 completes the range of ASUS notebooks from a completely foldable display that provides a 13-, 14- and 15-inch models. In future comes a new variant added with 11.6 inch display diagonal, which IPS display with 1366×768 pixels dissolves. Of course the unit provides a touch screen to make it in tablet mode easily to operate with your fingers.
Under the hood, here lies the new Intel Pentium N3700 from the Intel “Braswell” family, which has 1.6 GHz base clock, but can reach up to 2.4 GHz when needed. It is combined with four gigabytes of RAM and up to 128 GB of flash memory, and it probably should be also low-end models with half the RAM and only 32 GB comprehensive SSDs in order to ensure a low entry price.
With a USB Type-C port the ASUS TP200 is already equipped with the new connectivity standard that allows fast transfer rates and, theoretically, the power to the device on this path. Still uses ASUS yet its own Charger. Apart from this, also USB 3.0 support, Gigabit-WLAN and Bluetooth 4.0 on board. ASUS saves only to the Webcam, which unfortunately not very good dissolves here. In addition, also some minor quality issues were evident in the prototype at Computex 2015 as the device not yet reached the level of a production model.
