Within the family Republic of Gamers (ROG), Asus brings specially designed for gamers products. This time it’s a desktop with an impressive appearance. The Asus ROG G20AJ is a machine black with touches of red, which have already become a classic in the range of equipment to play video games. It is a fairly compact device that measures just over a foot high. It is smaller than the classic format semi tower boxes and looks like a volcano. It is not surprising, because it is available in various configurations including the latest processors and graphics cards.
The operating system is preinstalled Windows 8.1. All integrated wireless communication capabilities via Wi-Fi specification 802.11a / b / g / n / ac, apart from a 10/100/1000 Ethernet port. On the front is the headphone minijack stereo microphone input and two USB 3.0 ports. At the rear, there are other USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0, an HDMI digital video output (for connecting to a Full HD TV, for example) and an audio output to 7.1 channels. For storage, you can choose between hard drives and solid state drives (SSD). Hard drives are more capable SATA III 3.5-inch with 3 TB capacities. As SSDs is SATA III but also 2.5 inches, and can have 256 GB. And any sound card is a 7.1 channel Asus SonicMaster.
The processors are Intel fourth generation, belonging to the families i7, i5 and i3 with Intel H97 chipset. The consumer can opt for Intel Core i7 4790 processor, Intel Core i5 4460 and Intel Core i3 4150. The choice regarding graphics card are even more varied: NVIDIA GeForce GTX980 with 4 GB, NVIDIA GeForce GTX970 with 4 GB, NVIDIA GeForce GTX760 with 2 GB, NVIDIA GeForce GTX750 (with 1 GB or 2 GB), NVIDIA GeForce GTX745 with 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX780 3GB, NVIDIA GeForce GTX770 and 2 GB.
The Asus ROG G20AJ has two power sources: one of 230 W and 180 W other, with their separate shots current. The convection cooling system is efficient and quiet. Among the software that comes preloaded are Asus Lighting, Asus WebStorage, Asus Command, Ai Charger ll, Intel Rapid Start Software, Lucid Virtu and MaxxAudio. The mouse and keyboard are optional; can be purchased as accessories both wireless and wired versions. Asus ROG G20AJ weighs 6.38 kilos and measures 104 mm wide by 358 mm deep and 340 mm high.
