Among the network we see emergence of interesting news about a new tablet of the company Asus with 8-inch display and a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels (QXGA). This information we found them within the FCC documents that identify this model as Asus P01M – signed MSQP01M.
The details made public make us think that probably this model could be a new product series Memo Pad that will support the Android platform – but unfortunately they are just guesses.
Right now on the market we see the Memo Pad 7, a high-end tablet really appealing display with the FHD and Atom Bay Trail. Distinctive elements that could be exploited on this model by 8 inches, but with a diagonal different to try to have a higher resolution.
Among other features include a battery from 15.2 Wh and 3.8V, two possible variants with distinct panel LCD and touch panels (one standard and another Digitizer) and cameras will be of 8 and 5 Mp or 5 and 2 Mp.
All this could not certainly miss the Bluetooth and WiFi. The new Asus P01M could be presented during the event Computex 2015 – set at Taipei next June 2/6. Also from this meeting we expect the presentation of the extraordinary smartwatch ZenFone!
