With the Acer One S1001, the Taiwanese manufacturer has unveiled today a new Windows 8.1 tablet with keyboard dock, which indeed comes first in India to the market, but still could dictate the design line for the next generation of Switch 10. The design of the new tablet looks a bit more compact and modern in every case. Technically and economically, it is located in the lower segment, but could arrive exactly why really good, especially with each version; also an additional hard drive is integrated in the Dock.
Acer One S1001 with Windows 8.1
The Acer One S1001 is a normal 10.1 inch Windows 8.1 Tablet that offers little presents unique characteristics. It is powered by the Intel Bay Trail Z3735F quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and available to the 32 GB of internal memory. The internal memory can be increased via microSD card and extended. Alternatively, a model with 2 GB of RAM is listed, the price is not yet known there. However, each model comes with an additional 500GB drive in the dock, can be moved to the larger data.
On the connectivity has not really saved the Acer One S1001. On the tablet there is a microUSB port and a micro HDMI port to which the tablet can be connected to a larger monitor. The keyboard dock is still a fully functional USB 2.0 port accommodated, which allows the connection of other accessories. The design of the back is very edgy and beveled. This is likely the tablet really good in the hand. The speakers are moved to the back.
Like the Acer Aspire Switch 10, the tablet can be placed in both directions and the Acer One S1001. Here too, the compound was dissolved magnetically, so the tablet and keyboard dock can be easily detached from each other.
Other features of the Acer One S1001 include a 6,000 mAh battery, WiFi n and Bluetooth 4.0. The resolution of the 10.1-inch display is only at 1280 x 800 pixels and it is seemingly does not support stylus. On the back is still a 2 MP camera built in, while at the front, a 0.3 MP camera is visible. Converted costs the smallest available, Model 285 € . The normal Switch 10 with 500 GB HDD in Europe at least € 380. This version may come at an even lower price to Europe. So far it is sold exclusively at Amazon India.
