Acer boosts the midrange with Liquid Z410 Plus

The Taiwanese manufacturer has just formalized the Liquid Z410 Plus, a slightly improved version of Liquid Z410 launched in January.

After essentially presented entry level smartphones at Mobile World Congress, Acer is now back in the news in us with its Liquid Z410 Plus, which as its name suggests is an improved version of Liquid Z410 formalized at CES in Las Vegas in January.

According to the site CNet.de, the manufacturer should therefore start this Liquid Z410 Plus in April in Germany, at a price of 169 euros, 40 euros more than its predecessor. It has a datasheet almost similar to the Z410: the only distinguishing features being the amount of RAM and ROM, and that double pass respectively to 2 GB and 16 GB on this new version.

For the rest, it has the same characteristics as its predecessor. It shows indeed a qHD screen of 4.5 inches (with a resolution of 245 pixels per inch), under which lies a quad-core processor MediaTek MT6732M 1.3 GHz, so accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and by 16GB for storage (expandable via the microSD slot).

It also embeds two image sensors: one 5-megapixel on the back of the camera with autofocus and LED flash, and the other 2 megapixel front. Side connections, Acer Liquid Z410 Plus are well equipped since it has 4G connectivity (category 4), Wi-Fi b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0 and a dual SIM port. Remember also that everything runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat (an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop expected in the second half of this year), and the terminal has a 2000 mAh battery.

A new smartphone which is thus positioned on the mid-range among the Taiwanese manufacturer. Too bad for this difference in price (40 euros for recall), we did just see a bit of RAM and ROM and more.
