The Chinese manufacturer has just formalize the Cubot H1, a smartphone with a huge 5200 mAh battery, capable of providing recharging on other electronic devices.
Cubot is a Chinese mobile phone manufacturer you probably have never heard of. Yet it has released some interesting smartphones in recent months, and also wants to get a place in the Chinese market, which is certainly growing, but highly competitive for manufacturers.
If we speak of Cubot today is because the manufacturer has just released its new Cubot H1, a smartphone that has it in spades, as you will see.
The Cubot H1 features a 5.5-inch IPS screen, unfortunately in HD (720p), which is low enough for a slab of this size. It is run by a 64-bit SoC MediaTek MT6735 1GHz, with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory (expandable via its microSD port). Also on board a back photo sensor 8 megapixels (13 megapixels interpolated) and a 5-megapixel webcam (8 megapixels interpolated) on the front of the unit.
Connectivity side, as we find on most phones sold in China a dual port SIM compatible 4G LTE and conventional connections Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Android 5.1 Lollipop animates everything, with an overlay rather light Cubot.
But the main Cubot H1 has the distinction of having a gigantic battery capacity of 5200 mAh. And if it wills its user a more comfortable autonomy, it can also be used to charge other devices.
Another advantage of this battery (on which Cubot placed all its efforts visibly): it has a quick charging device with charger 5V 2A. And best of all this is that it does not play (or very little) on the finesse of the device, since the Cubot H1 is only 9.2 mm thick.
If you are interested Cubot H1, know that it should unfortunately not be available in Europe. You will indeed look on the import as shops are marketed in China, the equivalent of 145 euros. A price that is very decent for a phone of this caliber.
