It has become fashionable to manufacture smartphones with very thin bezels. Year after year, companies try to reduce the side bevels, lower and higher, as much as possible. For many, this is not practical, because the screen becomes more prone to damage if the device is dropped. It also tends to be more complicated when handling the terminal. The truth is that devices like the Meizu MX4, with really thin bezels, set the standard of what is today an obsession despite the lack of practicality.

ZTE will not only consider applying this to their new Nubia Z9, as you can see in the picture above. The company looks set to also join the club of phones with curved screens, as we have seen recently with Samsung and its Galaxy S6 Edge. The leaked images show how the edges are bent slightly on both sides, which serve to access some basic functions without having to make use of the device screen.

The ZTE Nubia Z9 will not be a phone that skimps on features. Rumor ride a screen of 5.5 inches, the same size as the iPhone 6 plus, and would have a qHD resolution. On the processor still no concrete data. It is definitely between a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 and Snapdragon 808, which seems to be the one that finally choose LG for your LG G4. It is not known exactly whether the RAM to accompany the SoC will be 3 or 4GB. It is quite possible, moreover, that the home button, which is clearly visible in the images, incorporates a fingerprint sensor. No details of his camera, but could have a master with a sensor of 16 megapixels.

For now, it is not known when ZTE will release it. The company already in China recently introduced two variants of this unknown device, the ZTE Nubia Z9 Max and ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini. The first one has a 5.5-inch screen and FullHD resolution. The processor, in this case, is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 and is accompanied by a RAM of 3GB. For its part, the mini version of the device makes use of a panel of 5 inches with a resolution FullHD and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, which goes hand in hand with 2GB RAM.

Both agree equip a 16-megapixel main camera and a secondary camera of 8 megapixels. We believe the Nubia Z9 will also use the same camera. Meanwhile, both the ZTE Nubia Z9 Max as the Nubia Z9 Mini is governed by Android 5.0 Lollipop by the Nubia UI 2.8 interface. China has already received the Nubia Z9 Mini. It is available at a price around 200 euros to change. For its part, the ZTE Nubia Z9 Max come to China next April 16 and will do about 350 euros to change.
