Oppo is about to launch a new entry-level smartphone in India. Called Joy Plus, this is obviously the successor of Joy which he unfortunately retains much of the data sheet in addition to price.

Oppo denotes a bit beside his Chinese compatriots such as Xiaomi, Lenovo or ZTE. The price is clearly not a priority. His latest flagship, the N3, sold more than 500 € while others rarely cross the € 400. Or when it does, it is at the expense of everything else, as with Joy. Entry-level smartphone, he particularly disappointed us with his equipment from another time at its output. And it is clearly not his successor that will correct the shot.

Oppo Joy Plus - new entry-level smartphone announced for India

Freshly introduced in India, the Joy Plus practically keeps the same datasheet that the first model. Two differences ahead anyway. RAM from 512 MB to 1 GB and Android will this time delivered in Version KitKat. This is still not the latest but it’s still better than Jelly Bean. The rest has therefore not moved: WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) 4-inch dual-core MT6572 chipset clocked at 1.3GHz, 4GB of internal memory, 3 megapixel camera, VGA webcam and 1700 mAh battery. No 4G here.

Joy Plus will soon be priced at 6990 rupees, the equivalent of a hundred dollars. It’s still a price to pay, especially on such a competitive market as India where it is possible to find a particular Redmi 2 with HD display, quad-core chipset and 4G modem virtually the same price.
