Xiaomi promised a wave of ads to celebrate its fifth anniversary. The Chinese firm has introduced its latest Smart TV to date, the Mi TV 2 with a 4K 55-inch screen. As always with the brand, a device has very low price considering its features.

 Big day for ad Xiaomi, which has not only formalized its cheapest smartphone to date. The Chinese firm, which already has two television screens stamped Mi TV 2, comes from a third official. Like its other products, it displays a value on the beat paper.

 In addition to screen 40 inch Full HD and a slab of 49 inches 4K, so here is a Mi TV 2 55-inch whose characteristics are very close to it. Xiaomi however emphasized the delicacy of his camera, from 15.5 mm version 49 inches to 15.2 mm for a screen edge reduced to 6 mm. The TV adopts Ultra HD LED display (4K) Samsung signed under which we find a  MStar 6A928 processor compatible with the H.265 format 60 fps (Quad 1.4 GHz) coupled to a GPU Mali-760 MP4 and 2 GB of RAM. Mi TV 2 also has 8 GB of storage and comes with a notable accessory: a sound bar with 8 speakers and a subwoofer, the all-aluminum and certified Dolby MS12. If Xiaomi has not detailed the OS that drives its smart TV, we can already expect the integration of MiOS, its operating system based on Android 4.4 KitKat, as is the case with the Mi TV 2 40 inches, which should in future switch to Lollipop.

 As always, it is in terms of price Xiaomi stands out: it will offer its Chinese customers this screen priced at 4999 yuan, or about 750 euros before taxes.
