Ployer Momo7W: the tablet Windows 8.1 ultra-cheap

It is undeniable that the commercial policy of Microsoft, in recent times, is much changed and has become more favorable to the mobile world and the builders of affordable products. If at the beginning of last year the search for a Windows tablet statement required a good dose of recklessness and folly, in fact, today you can find products by price really ridiculous as the new Ployer Momo7W.

The times when the lower end of the market was dominated by Android devices, often characterized by SoC outdated and dubious performance, are thus only a memory. The tablet that we present today, but is distinguished by its minimal features really has not sacrificed on the altar over-capacity computational cost.

The SoC used, for example, is an Intel Atom Bay Trail Z3735G quad-core 1.33 GHz, the same that animates the Pipo W7 which we have already spoken. Even RAM and ROM, respectively 1 GB and 16 GB, are similar to those of the competitor, while the absence of a rear camera and Bluetooth reminds us of the economic vocation of the terminal.

The battery Ployer Momo7W, from only 2500 mAh capacity, will probably have some problems for food along the 7-inch IPS display with 1024 x 600 pixels. The tablet has only the bare essentials to the operation, but there is a small photo sensor front 0.3 megapixel (really the minimum wage) and the necessary slot MicroSD. The unexpected presence of an HDMI connector, while the sector can count on only WiFi connectivity.

The device, as we have anticipated, is shipped with a license Windows 8.1 and an annual subscription to Office 365. On the manufacturer’s site, however, there are indications of an interesting version with dual boot Android.

Ployer Momo7W, as you’ll see, is a tablet designed to offer a good Windows experience at a nominal price. In China, in fact, the device is available at a cost of only 299 yuan, 42 euros at current exchange rates. The terminal, even considering a modest mark-up of international retailers, is worth considering as an alternative to the cheaper devices market, rarely falling below the threshold of 40 Euro.
