Oxygen OS - new operating system OnePlus

OnePlus Asian brand has decided to shelve the CyanogenMod operating system to make the move to Oxygen OS, an operating system developed by the same company. Therefore, OnePlus begin to incorporate into their smartphone your own Oxygen OS operating system. The new Oxygen OS (known as HydrogenOS in Asian countries) will be based on the version of Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system Android, and presumably its debut in the market of mobile telephony will be realized with the new OnePlus Two.

Oxygen OS is more than just a layer of customization; is what is known as a ROM, and in absolute terms we could consider as an operating system. Oxygen OS assumes, first, removing all applications and all disposable accessories that brings factory installed Android OS (which includes all Google applications that are factory installed).

Oxygen OS is also fully customizable, which means that each user can modify the appearance of the interface without necessarily relying on official designs used by each manufacturer. We talked about a similar layers Android customization concept, but improved and brought to reality in a more open manner.

Precisely this was once the success of CyanogenMod, operating (or ROM) system which until now incorporated OnePlus standard on their smartphones (indeed, the OnePlus One was officially launched with a rear casing in which you could see the Cyanogen logo). Simple, open design, infinite customization possibilities, a fluent interface and active support from the developers have been the keys that have come true that Cyanogen has become one of the ROMs most used in regard to the customization of Android smartphones.

But although Oxygen OS’s official, OnePlus told we have to wait until February 12 to learn more about this ROM.

What is known about the OnePlus Two, the smartphone that also happen to OnePlus One likely incorporate Oxygen OS series? No official information, but rumors speak of a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels (what is known as Quad HD resolution), Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 4 gigabytes of RAM, Android 5.0 Lollipop version of the system Android operating a battery with 3300 mAh capacity and a price of 375 euros close to the exit.

The date of submission of OnePlus Two is a complete mystery; although there seems no doubt that we talk about a smartphone that will be realized during the year 2015.
