As the gallery above reveals, the Honor 7 managed to stay away from the outlet for up to 14 and a half hours in phone calls, three hours less than its predecessor. In the navigation test on the web the new model showed better results, with 10 hours and working half before taking the decision, but it is also less than 13 hours obtained with Honor 6.

The big screen also spent Honor 7 was evaluated in battery drain test, revealing that the user can enjoy almost 10 hours of video playback before receiving the alert to the need to recharge. Here we also have a disadvantage for almost 13 hours the Honor 6 offers. Finally, we have the results of the stand-by mode, in which the Honor 7 can 64 hours, against 67 hours of Honor 6.

During the event Huawei held today in Beijing, the Chinese company has unveiled a new device that belongs to the line Honor.

The device is presented the Honor 7, (apparently) a worthy successor of the Huawei Honor 6 device remembered for its high value for money. With the Huawei Honor 7, the Chinese company holds the policy adopted by his predecessor proposing a top of the range in effect at a price (at least in China) content.

Huawei Honor 7 officially presented: top of the range at a low price

We analyze the new Huawei device starting from the technical specifications: 5.2-inch Full HD screen, octa-core processor owner Kirin 935, 3 GB of RAM LPDD3, 20 MP rear camera, front camera 8 MP, 16/64 GB of internal memory expandable via microSD, 3100 mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The surprises do not end there: the Honor 7, as well as having good technical details, also has some goodies that may be preferable to the atria device. First, we find on the back a sensor for fingerprints which allows not only unlocking the device, but also quick access to some features (is able to detect the number of pressures and movements). In addition, the smartphone has an additional chip that aims to maximize the life of the device (up to 30%). Even the camera seems to be quality: the rear (with slide sapphire) is composed of the Sony IMX230 sensor and is characterized dall’autofocus laser PDAF (which allows you to focus on subjects in 0.1 seconds) and dedicated ISP. The frontal one, instead, is equipped with wide-angle lens and has, via software, a function to optimize selfie. Needless to mention the radio part of the new Honor, as all devices Huawei, is always excellent and cutting edge.

Huawei Honor 7 officially presented: top of the range at a low price

The Huawei Honor 7 will be sold in China in the 16 GB version priced at 1999 yuan (about 288 €), in the version of 16 with dual connectivity to 2199 yuan (about 317 €) and finally in version 64 with global connectivity to 2499 yuan (about 360 €). At the moment there is no information regarding the other markets.

Slowly the puzzle on the characteristics of the expected hardware device Huawei Honor 7 is going to be completed, as new pieces were added in the last hours, confirming most of the hardware features listed in previous news.

Huawei Honor 7: hardware specifications confirmed by a Screenshot

Huawei Honor 7 with 4GB of RAM and processor Kirin 935

A screenshot taken directly from Huawei Honor 7, model number PLK-AL10, indicates that the chipset of the smartphone will be the Kirin 935 with Octa-Core architecture and full support for 64-bit encoding.

The Kirin 935 chipset will be joined by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory of which 53,57 available to the user; we do not know if the internal memory is expandable with microSD but we think we are.

Huawei Honor 7 will use probability, although the screenshot does not show a display of at least 5-inch diagonal full HD resolution with 1920 x 1080 pixels; the magnitude information in the display unfortunately not yet precise and must settle for rumors earlier.

From the software point of view, as the screenshot does not show other information the hardware side, Huawei Honor 7 will use from the start Android 5.1 with custom interface Emotion expected to reach version 3.1 or higher.

Huawei Honor 7 should release two versions; the one shown in the screenshot should be the “premium” version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory; the other “normal” version will instead have 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory and a force play list price lower.

The version with more ram it should cost about 400-435 US dollars, while the cheaper version with “only” 3 GB of RAM you should be around $ 320.

Following the launch of its current flagship, the Huawei P8, the Asian company seems to be very willing to renew the Honor range with a new member. The exact date in which the present is unknown, but we do not take too long, more and more leaks that occur in the new device, named as Honor 7 moment. According to reveal from GizmoChina, this terminal would come in two versions different, a mid-range and high-end another would take the surname “Plus” and would have better specifications.

According to information we have, the first of which would be released in a few days. For the Plus version will have to wait some more. There is talk that would come later in the year, so it would have a few months of difference between a pitch and another. As it can be assumed, there will be some significant differences between a phone and another, especially in regard to the display, processor and memory. In terms of design, they would both be “dressed” in the same way and double equip a metallized housing. As you can see in the pictures, this type of material will give you a sleeker, far removed from the austere appearance of polycarbonate appearance.

The Honor 7 could be launched in June

As for features, the Huawei Honor 7 ride 5-inch screen with HD resolution. This model would be powered by a processor Kirin 935, which would be accompanied by 3GB of RAM. The new device would have an internal storage capacity of 16GB and make use of a main camera with 13 megapixels and optical image stabilization sensor. Meanwhile, the battery would have a capacity of 3.280mAh, more than enough for that we not be hung without autonomy to the first of change.

The Plus variant would increase the size of your screen until the 5.5 inches, but would continue to be the same resolution: FullHD. We would also find changes in the processor. Instead of equipping a SoC Kirin 935, he would have chosen a top model, a Kirin 950. This chip will start mass production from September, so it is very likely that the new Honor 7 Plus is one of the first to have it later this year. Hence its launch delayed more. Sources also say that the RAM would improve markedly from the standard model 3GB to 4GB.

The Honor 7 could be launched in June

As for the photographic section, Honor 7 Plus would also include a main camera with 13 megapixel sensor, but enhanced by the dual-lens technology. Both models share the operating system and arrive governed by Android 5.0 Lollipop. Version does not know why, but we believe that one of the last. We assume that later can upgrade to Android M smoothly, which, as we reported a few days ago, comes with some dramatic changes, such as Android Pay or better management of battery consumption, something that is always appreciated.

New images of Huawei Honor 7 would reveal a rear shell of metal with the presence of a scanner for fingerprints: will this really happen?

Huawei, the Chinese company known worldwide leader in the production of smartphones and tablets in recent months is growing more and more popularity among customers all over the world, is definitely riding on the success of its new range Honor, or products mainly for mid-range market with an excellent value for money but can be purchased only online through the official e-commerce website.

Huawei Honor 7: metal shell with fingerprint scanner?

One of the products that have found the most successful sales and critical acclaim from the experts in the industry is definitely the Honor 6, a mid-range smartphone launched just last year; by new rumors and some new images it seems that the Chinese company is already working on his successor for 2015: the new mobile device would take the name of Honor 7.

Huawei Honor 7 on the card should use a display a bit ‘bigger than its predecessor and implement some other interesting innovation: first with this smartphone could do for the first time even the appearance of a model of Honor series scanner fingerprint, placed on the rear bodywork; also seems that the phone in question will not have the plastic shell, but will evolve with a new metal body that will increase the value and quality of construction in general.

Huawei Honor 7: metal shell with fingerprint scanner?

Obviously we do not have certainty on this information as images coming directly from China were not certainly formalized by the same Huawei, and therefore must be considered with the right intellectual-emotional detachment.

Other rumors, always from China, would indicate that Huawei could also develop a second version of Honor 7, which would take the name of Huawei Honor 7 Plus and which would have as substantial difference in the presence of a double rear camera (a so-called dual chamber) for increase and improve any photo effects.

Honor 7 do not have details on its certified hardware, but rumors indicate that this smartphone / phablet running Android Lollipop and custom interface Emotion should use a display from about 5.5 inches diagonally, the chipset Octa-Core 64bit Kirin 930 (or possibly the most advanced version Kirin 935) flanked by 3GB of RAM (more or less then the hardware features already seen on the new Huawei P8 official a few days ago).

It was recently presented during the event held in London the brand new Huawei P8, top of the range of the known Chinese company that with a policy of prices and a hardware department prominent attempts to give a hard competition .

The company also announced the P8 Lite and P8 Max, but the projects of the Chinese house founded in 1987 in Shenzhen do not stop there! In fact, as we all know Huawei also owns the brand Honor and was released recently the news of a new device for this brand is smartphone. The device in question is the new top of the range Hauwei Honor 7 (or Glory 7) – the name changes depending on the area of marketing the device.

The previous model Hawei Honor 6 is still today a very powerful device with 3 GB of RAM, a 5-inch display with 1080p resolution and powered by a proprietary processor Huawei Kirin 920 octa-core.

It could be argued, the facts prove, that his successor will be powered by a more powerful processor owner of Huawei, speaking of HiSilicon Kirin 930 or 935 octa-core, while measures will display with a diagonal, it speaks a 5.5-inch screen with 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) associated with 3GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, of course we will have Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed personalized interface Emotion UI on board as the new line P8.

In terms of design will be very similar to the phablet Ascent Mate 7, the material of the body is made entirely of aluminum and there will be a fingerprint scanner, not on the Huawei Glory 6, but implemented in this new version.

From the pictures you can also see the camera sensors next to the fingerprint scanner and a dual-LED flash.

It is very likely that bait is also a variant Honor 7 Plus as happened with the predecessor; now the way of all manufacturers is this, for the top models almost all OEM features two models, and the second – with smaller incurred – is called Plus or Max.
