The technical characteristics of UMI Fair are official. The phone combines features slightly above the entry level as well as a fingerprint reader, all for a very low price.

 The teasing had already started a few weeks ago, the Chinese firm UMI having revealed a first visual showing some valuable elements: its next model, the UMI Fair would be endowed with both Android Lollipop and a fingerprint reader, all at a price below $ 100. It is dubbed as such “99 Killer”, although its price has not yet been confirmed.

 Its features, they, are today in outline. This UMI Fair does not claim to display high-end specifications, but is located in a small mid-range interest. At least if its price does not actually exceed $ 100. It will indeed be equipped with a 5-inch screen and HD resolution 720p, but MediaTek MT6735 SoC with a quad combined with 1GB of RAM. Memory side, count on 8GB of storage and a microSD port. We also find the support of 4G and compatibility with the frequency bands hexagonal, dorsal photo sensor 13 megapixels a battery of 2000 mAh and Android 5.1 Lollipop. This UMI Fair measure 8.4 mm thick and weighs 120 grams. Above all, it will have a fingerprint reader located on its dorsal hull.

 Even if we can retain some doubts on the overall performance and the quality of materials used, we can only wait impatiently to test such a phone. UMI announces actual launch this September 25th, and a confirmation to the passage of its launch rate.
