Xiaomi Chinese Company is ready to start 2015 with force. In addition to its new flagship Xiaomi Mi5, which starred various leaks photographs, Xiaomi is also preparing the presentation of a mid-range smartphone: the Xiaomi Redmi 2S. This new mobile just starred a leak in the form of photographs that we have not only revealed their appearance, but we also have allowed to know the differences that exist between this terminal and its predecessor, the Xiaomi Redmi 1S (submitted in May 2014).
If we analyze in depth the pictures of the new Xiaomi Redmi 2S, the first thing we see is that the Redmi 2S comes with a size and a slightly more compact compared to finished design Xiaomi Redmi 1S. In fact, filtration released by the US website AndroidHeadlines notes that the Xiaomi Redmi 2S has a size of 134 x 67.21 x 9.2 mm (132 grams), a figure slightly lower than the 137 x 69 x 9.9 mm (158 grams) of Redmi 1S.
In regard to the technical specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi 2S could incorporate a 4.7 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor with 1.2 GHz clock speed and 64-bit technology, 1 gigabyte of RAM, 8 gigabytes by microSD- -ampliables internal storage, a main eight megapixel camera, a front two megapixel camera, 4G LTE connectivity and the Android operating system in version of Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
Now, these specifications represent a sufficiently important to discuss a successor Xiaomi Redmi 1S? The truth is that no, which is why so many media agree that what we are seeing is actually a new Xiaomi Redmi 1S 4G. The only differences between this new mobile and Xiaomi Redmi 1S reside in a small improvement in the processor (formerly a Snapdragon 400), a slight improvement in the front chamber (previously 1.6 megapixels) and, most importantly, the 4G connectivity for ultra-fast Internet.
As rumored in the network, presentations Xiaomi taking place during the month of January will follow this order: on January 4 will present the Xiaomi Redmi 2S or Xiaomi Redmi 1S 4G, while on January 15 will be presented on Xiaomi Mi5 (the new flagship of the company).
The Xiaomi Mi5, meanwhile, could incorporate a screen of 5.5-6.0 inch Quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805/810, 4 gigabytes of RAM and the latest Android operating system in its version of Android 5.0 Lollipop.
