The name of the product that we present in this article is certainly not the easiest to remember. We are talking about Huawei RongYao LiFang.
What is it? A router can be used at the same time as set-top-box, Internet TV or NAS for storage and backup of your data.
The specifications of this product are really very very interesting.
First, the Huawei RongYao LiFang has two processors, one dual core at 1.5GHz dedicated to the multimedia department and running the operating system Android Jelly Bean 4.2, while the second is a dual-core 1.0GHz dedicated to the sole function of router.
This feature allows differentiation of the two yield optimal performance in each of the functions for which this product was conceived.
The rest of the technical specifications see: 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory eMMC 5.0, 2.5-inch hard drives SATA 3.0 1TB removable and replaceable up to 4TB capacity, WiFi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac dual band (2.4GHz / 5.0GHz), network protocol TCP / IP.
The allocation of ports that comes with this particular device is very complete and very respectable. We talk, in fact, an input for the 3.5mm headset, an HDMI port, USB 2.0, built-in WiFi to use the device as an access point as well as a router, 2-port Ethernet network (LAN), SD slot and input the power supply.
Always in the back are the power button and synchronization of connected devices.
The features are so many and the great advantage of a similar device is that it can be used as a router, NAS and set-top-box simultaneously, thanks to the dual-processor that takes care to work every single function.
Everything is simplified by the presence, in the sales package, a remote control through which you can control the media functions once the device is connected to the TV via HDMI output.
Of course you can also share their multimedia content via your smartphone using Miracast sharing via WiFi, provided you have a device with Android 2.3 or higher, or a product with iOS 5.0 or higher.
The most common video formats: MKV, AVI, DivX, WMV, MP4, RM, RMV, ASF and 720p 1080p.
As for the sound, however, interesting to be compatible with the format FLAC uncompressed, excellent thing for a product equipped with HDD up to 4TB.
Once lit, the Huawei RongYao LiFang, is equipped with a control center that allows you to monitor the “health” of the connection with the respective speed of download and upload, the operating temperature of the CPU, the speed at which the fan is turning cooling (integrated in the lower part of the device).

This Huawei RongYao LiFang is not yet available for sale and we do not know to tell you what might be the amount which will be sold, although the device appears on Amazon.com, but no details of availability or price.
