The new MediaTek MT6595 octa-core processor is really one of the best today, as it has a pretty good processor, as we have already do with the Meizu MX4, and as always, at a fairly inexpensive price. It is probably the SoC erecting Chinese high-end phones that arise throughout the next year. In this article we collect the phones with this processor, along with a brief description of the product and the price in the store where you can buy it.
The MT6595 is a key step Taiwanese company by the various innovations, the MediaTek chipset is the first 4G LTE natively, the first to support 2K resolutions and video recording Quad-HD, and others which we quote below.
MediaTek MT6595 – Features
Architecture Big.little: The MT6595 MediaTek is built around four cores Cortex A17 and Cortex A7 four possibly can be enabled or not depending on what is needed. It’s the same architecture used by Samsung for its Exynos range, a line of processors that have proven to be powerful and efficient at the same time
Connectivity: The MediaTek MT6595 work with 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks that are compatible with our operators.
Videos: ability to record video in 4K resolution at 30 fps per second, however, MT6595M version only supports 1080p Full HD
Screen Resolution: The MT6595 is not yet able to handle 4K screens, but improvements 2K we will have no problem
Graphics: The GPU receives a significant update: running from the Mali-450, the PowerVR G600 operating at 600 MH
Camera: The MT6595 demonstrated its sensors able to manage up to 20 megapixels, and as in the previous case, this reduced version (MT6595M) supports up to 16 megapixels.
Although on paper this chipset represents something of a revolution for Taiwan’s house in daily use the MT6595 will be able to deliver performance that will impress owners have different phones with him.
Meizu MX4
It was the first terminal in the MediaTek MT6595 presented chipset giving a great result, and even leading the ranking in Antutu. The Meizu MX4 today, is number two in the Chinese company Meizu, available both in China and in various online stores that allow us to acquire it at a good price. Zopo ZP999
Zopo introduced this device to address the Meizu MX4. Specifically talk about the new Zopo ZP999 is also available in a version called “Lite” or 3X and differ from normal to have fewer ROM and RAM. Anyway we wrote an article dedicated to it you can see from this link.
It focusing on the Zopo ZP999 is a phone that is not only larger and more powerful, if not also the price at the international level, ie at different online stores is somewhat lower. While Meizu MX4 has a price in the international market of approximately 290 euros, the ZP999 has a price of approximately 230 euros only. Among the features to stress are a 5.5-inch panel and 3GB of RAM. Mogu M7
The Chinese manufacturer Mogu not enjoys great popularity beyond China’s borders. In his home country, however, is a terminal with an incredible value. The Mogu M7 was announced in China at a price of 1,399 yuan (about 180 euros), almost half the price at which it sells the Meizu MX4.
Mogu like every terminal is ready, has a great set of technical specifications obviously commanded by Mediatek MT6595 SoC. Incredibly, Mogu M7 will feature 5.5-inch screen with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 2GB of RAM and chambers of 8 and 16 megapixels for the front and rear part respectively.
Today there are none of those places where we can usually buy a Chinese mobile with confidence, that’s why we have to wait a little longer. Despite that, Mogu M7 as announced by the company, and what we have achieved know, still a price lower than Zopo ZP999 and the Meizu MX4.
Lenovo Vibe X2
The Lenovo Vibe X2 is the “little brother” of the flagship of Lenovo. The device is distinguished by a quite original and layers in different colors and design. Contrary to the other terminal of which we have spoken, in this case Lenovo Vibe X2, riding a MT6595M processor, meaning it operates at a clock frequency of 2.0 GHz which is slightly lower, however, but sufficient to operate a device 5 inch Full-HD. The cameras are 5 and 13 megapixels for the front and rear.
Finally, accompanying the SoC we find that Vibe X2 has 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory and Android 4.4 Kitkat. In China, the price at which it is sold is 2,500 yuan, which are about 320 euros at current exchange rate.
Coolpad Grand 5
This Coolpad device is ready to be part of the high-end Chinese market, and we know as Coolpad Great 5. We do not know for sure if this terminal will be equipped with MediaTek MT6595 processor but certainly and according to various rumors we have known, is a device that should be taken into account.
According to rumors currently circulating, Coolpad Grand 5 could come in a number of different versions, one with 3 GB of RAM and 2K screen. As I say, as we know the device would incorporate the MediaTek MT6595, although even know many details.
